Key points you need to understand is that this is not a treatment which gives an immediate result, it takes time and patience however, the end results are well worth the wait. About Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides address skin hydration by regulating the maintenance of water balance. Polynucleotides are generally extracted from fish in a cruelty-free process, whereby they are highly purified. They are then incorporated into a polymerised injectable gel that can be administered via needle or cannula. Polynucleotides are completely absorbed by the body and have a half-life of approximately 3 hours which means there is very little downtime. Side effects that can occur include redness and swelling, which usually settles after 1–2 days. This treatment can be used for several conditions such as general ageing, acne scarring and rosacea. It is suitable for all age groups and is not only useful for the eyes and face but also has well documented benefits for the neck, decolletage and knees.
